Nashville singer-songwriter David Olney died Saturday (Jan. 18) after collapsing on stage on the 30A Songwriters festival in Santa Rosa seashore, Fla.
Olney — whose work was once recorded by way of Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Del McCoury and lots of others — died of an obvious heart assault, in step with his web site. He used to be seventy one.

Olney used to be remembered by using singer-songwriter Amy Rigby, who used to be performing alongside him on the 30A Songwriters competition where he died.

Olney is survived through his wife Regine, daughter Lillian, and son Redding. Memorial small print were not but on hand at press time.
